As an early fan of her work, I eagerly await her first book. Although it’s not a genre I would typically read, it is entirely immersive, informative, and entertaining, and it shows the strength of her past forays into writing. Her story about JOE was also sublime, as we all have loved and lost someone close to us, and she captured the urban grit/family dynamics of living with dysfunction amidst addiction, which broke my heart.
